Description
iApotheca is a small, remote team with 5 team members based in Ontario. We have been building software for pharmacies in Canada & the US for the past 6 years, and our narcotics reconciliation software has been used by over 1000 pharmacies.
We need a developer to help build and maintain our newest offering, a Laravel application that assists pharmacies and other businesses with their delivery operations.
Features include:
Tracking deliveries
Route optimization
Payment integration
A portion of time will also be spent on maintaining and updating our existing products.
As we are a remote team, communication is extremely important. The ideal candidate should be fluent in English and should excel at communicating both verbally and in writing. Also, due to the nature of our work, the ideal candidate should be comfortable with math and data analysis. This doesn't mean you need to be an expert at it, but some of this stuff is a bit heavy on the data-analysis side.
Although we'd love to have someone who can hit the ground running with Laravel right away, we're also open to the idea of another candidate who is experienced in other frameworks and would require a transitional period into Laravel. While the majority of what we write is in Laravel, the ideal candidate should also have proficiency with HTML, CSS, and Javascript (vanilla or a framework).

Must be able to step back from a project and see the bigger picture/goal.

Proficient in Laravel & PHP
